Historical bike share data

This resource provides time-series records of bike share station status changes, organized by network and month, in Parquet format. It covers bike share networks supported by CityBikes.

Filenames look like {year}{month}-{network}-stats.{format}, e.g., 202411-bicing-stats.parquet for a parquet file of Bicing bike share from November 2024.

This endpoint is experimental and subject to change. The data is provided as-is, with no warranties on accuracy or availability.

If CityBikes data is used in your project or analysis, the following should be included in your acknowledgements section: "Bike-share data by CityBikes contributors and available from https://data.citybik.es". In addition, when CityBikes data is introduced in the paper, a citation should be included to "CityBikes contributors. (2025) Bike-share data retrieved from https://data.citybik.es.
